Zurich Cafe

Evoking all the illicit intrigue of a speakeasy, this concept cafe can be found concealed underneath a skyscraper in Switzerland’s spiritual capital. The goal was to cultivate a real sense of stepping back in time, out from the hustle of Zurich and into the raucous drinking dens of 1920s New York.

With a clear creative direction, our role was centered around expert procurement, unearthing priceless prohibition-era artifacts. This included a 90-year-old wooden bar to serve as the centerpiece, ornate tin ceiling tiles, and six tons of vintage subway tiles. We scoured the halls of history to craft a cocktail and coffee emporium like no other, where inhibitions are forgotten among retro wooden furniture and gossamer festoon drapes.
