Brooklyn Factory Loft

With a prime Brooklyn position, this 19th-century factory building concealed a dark, cut-cost condo crying out for a refurbishment. Drawing on in-depth architectural knowledge, Breanna transformed the space for her own personal home in just three months, peeling back layers of low-cost materials to reveal the building’s rich, industrial heritage.

Raised ceilings and removed walls allowed light to dance through a multi-functional living space, with streamlined, floor-to-ceiling storage to soften sightlines. Every piece of mid-century furniture chosen told a story, inspired by worldwide travels and timeless design. As such, personality exudes from every detail, from the hand-casted key hook to the kitchen brassware, which was custom created as a nod to the designer’s own jewelry line.
